Seeing to Believe
The queen of Sheba hears about the stunning reputation of King Solomon. She’s skeptical and travels to meet him. The queen wants to see if there is any truth to the reports she’s heard.
Presenting him with gifts, she talks with Solomon at length. The king answers her every question, able to fully explain all things to her. He impresses her. She’s also astounded by what she sees.
The queen affirms his great wisdom and immense wealth, declaring that what she heard fails to communicate the fullness of all she saw and experienced. She is in awe.
Solomon loads her up with gifts, and she returns home.
The queen of Sheba had to see to believe.
